Donald Joseph Qualls better known as his screen DJ Qualls, better known by his stage DJ Qualls was born in the US. He is an actor, producer and model. In the years since he gained fame for his part on Road Trip, he's appeared in over 20 movies. This includes The New Guy Hustle & Flow, The Core and The New Guy Hustle & Flow. Apart from his appearances as a character in the film, he's appeared in over 22 TV series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls has survived Hodgkin's lymphoma. The first time he was diagnosed when he turned 14 years of age. After two years of treatment the cancer went into the stage of remission. However, the treatment at such an early age had a severe effect on his body, and hindered his growth. Financial security became his main objective once he began since he'd experienced hardship throughout his entire childhood. In the wake of living in poverty over the years I need this level of financial security. Otherwise the world seems to be beyond my control. He looks back on his childhood, and has the desire to act against bullies. He says "Cruelty is a snare to my heart." DJ's ideal job is become a father on reel and in reality. Yet he confesses "Directors don't cast my in these roles." Someday he would love to have a child of his own when he would be able to spend more time to his work and more time with his children.
